Buying in the Neighborhood - Edition Fourteen (14)

So this edition of  "Buy In Arizona" is not an easy one because it has to do with something that we all think about or ignore or are wholeheartedly dedicated to, but can't always keep up with.

Fitness, fitness, fitness....oh what a chore or oh what a joy?  What is it for you?  First off, I will be honest, I am not a fitness guru or even a health guru at all.  I strive to stay healthy and in somewhat good shape, but its not easy.  I'm sure everyone out there has one challenge or another with staying on the fitness bandwagon.  But really it shouldn't be a bandwagon at all, it should be how we live our life and take it in everyday.  Your health at the end of the day, is really what you need to live and make it everyday, without your health you virtually could not do anything...

While it may seem difficult, even only 15 minutes of attention to some sort of exercise can make a big difference.  Drinking water in between meals can make a big difference.  Substituting fresh fruit for processed fruit can make a difference.  Even if you can only focus on one healthy thing a day, that can make a difference.  Why am I discussing this now?  Well it is spring time, and Easter is around the corner, some schools will be getting out in a couple months and summer will be here soon or at least the heat will.  This all means summer clothes, outdoor oriented activity, lots of fun in the sun or shade here and hitting the water sports/venues/pools/beaches/vacation places and most of us want to look good.  Okay, admit, even if you say you don't care, you really do...so quit denying it.

In order to give some helpful information on things you can do to help you feel better and healthier, I interviewed a few weeks ago, Enerjoy, http://www.enerjoyfitness.com to learn more about some of the options available and why it is important to look at many aspects of your health.  I talked with Ilana Arzt (founder of Enerjoy, Fitness Trainer) and Christi Christiaens (Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Fitness Trainer).  They have just moved to a new location, at 16447 N. 91st Street, Suite 104, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 (next door to AZ on the Rocks) and will be hosting their Grand Opening (Gym Warming Party) on April 30, Saturday, from 9AM to 2PM.  Enerjoy will be offering free classes throughout the day, nutrition lessons, stretching, body conditioning, kickboxing, free massages and much more.  20% off on all Services and Retail during the event.

In addition to the above programs, they also offer a whole host of nutrition programs that are to the extreme level of good for you....  The programs focus on the Digestive, Adrenal and Immune System.  These are core to you being healthy all over.  Christi Christiaens has a passion about including the nutrition as part of fitness.  The philosophy is lifestyle and long term changes which are customized and personalized based on an individual's needs.  Their passion is to help enable changes so people can really experience the difference and feel the change for better.  Their nutrition reviews include establishing recipes, buying foods for the program, teaching individual how to do it themselves, in-home consulting, pantry make-overs, working with entire families and/or individuals.  The business has grown based on referrals.  They also realize that not everyone can do the same program so that is why they really consult to understand and know what the individuals or families are looking for when they visit Enerjoy (http://www.enerjoyfitness.com).

If you haven't started a program this year, made a resolution to be healthier or even taken one step to change something about your health, April 30th would be a great time to stop by in to Enerjoy and see what you might be missing out on or what you might need to focus on.  Good luck on your focus on health and looking forward to the next time when we meet again!!!!

Make the most of your week and help someone along the way, you'll feel better for it.
